enwis is the industry solution for waste management and recycling companies. It is a superstructure of the powerful and comprehensive Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central information system and forms one compact whole. Thanks to the many years of experience of the solution developers and architects, the waste management processes are comprehensively covered. The solution thus enables the management of both standard processes and highly specialised processes. In each case, the processes are covered by the enwis solution from start to finish, i.e., from the weighing scale at the receiving end, through contractual and commercial matters, to storage, tracking of waste movements during transport, processing of waste or material, to the disposal of material in landfills or its sale.

enwis covers the waste management needs of commercial companies. It provides business opportunity management, customer contract management, price list management, waste catalogues in accordance with legislation, management of collection lines, route planning for specific vehicles, for specific times and for vehicle crews, and finally the execution of its own services in the form of waste collection.
The entire logistics and business process is fully covered by the enwis solution, minimising human error and managing the entire process in accordance with waste legislation. At the same time, automation is maximised.
The processes in cities and municipalities are noticeably different from waste management in the private sector. The enwis solution therefore builds on the basic solution for commercial companies in its functionality and significantly extends it to the requirements in the municipal sphere.
enwis enables two principles of service provision. The first is waste management by means of a contractual agreement with the municipality. The service provider provides and invoices the city or municipality for its services. The second principle is the so-called mandate contract, where the contractor performs the service on behalf of the city or municipality.
The processing of waste for further use is becoming increasingly important. enwis enables its functionality to manage the collection and processing of bio-waste and the subsequent sale of the resulting product, e.g., compost. Of course, the process of collecting plastic waste, sorting, packaging and subsequent sale of, e.g., plastic bottles is handled.
A special area of recycling is the collection of metal waste, its sorting, processing and preparation of the sale of the resulting raw material for further processing. The result is a raw material with a guaranteed proportion of each type of metal, which corresponds exactly to the customer's requirements. The pricing of the raw material supplied in this way is determined by the rules of trade on the exchange with a direct link to enwis. For example, industrial waste aluminium and its alloys are processed in this way.
enwis' functional characteristics cover the assets and equipment that companies use for their activities. The records include various waste containers, containers for transport, vehicles and superstructures including technical registration data, machinery and equipment such as lawn mowers.
The system provides information on the location of, e.g., waste bins or containers at customers, information on their readiness, load, movement, waste and materials collected, as well as the economic benefits of individual bins. The use of barcodes or RFID is possible.
For machines, vehicles and equipment the system collects and provides the user with information on the progress of individual orders, free or occupied capacity. The collection equipment crew have an online overview of the performance of their orders, the following tasks and can communicate with dispatchers on both sides about orders with the possibility of modifying them or placing new orders.
The entire solution for waste management companies also includes legislative requirements. It covers the requirements for bookkeeping according to Czech&Slovak and international accounting standards. It includes specific requirements in the field of VAT in accordance with CZ or SK and EU legislation. And, of course, it also covers the requirements for recording business, financial, property and logistics operations. The solution provides a Czech, Slovak and English language environment.
